About Heather
Heather loves mosaic and loves glass. So it’s hardly surprising that she makes glass mosaics! She trained in Fine Art at Southport College and at Liverpool John Moores University and is a member of Liverpool and Southport Stained Glass Workshops. She has exhibited regularly at the Waterfront Arts Project in Southport. She has been a member of BAMM North for about 5 years now and finds it an exciting and vibrant group to be part of.
Heather is fascinated by combining traditional Roman mosaic design techniques with modern Tiffany glass-cutting techniques. She also really likes grout and the different effects you can get with it. The result is often colourful and slightly quirky. Heather’s main aim is to bring pleasure to people through art.
